FOR CITRUS JUICING
Q: Are oranges available on a 12 month basis?
A : Yes. There are fruit varieties available from the east coast and west coast twelve months of the year. Their seasons are opposite; therefore, fruit availability is plentiful. We will provide you a chart (see below), if interested

Q: What model of equipment do you recommend?
A: What volume of juicing are you currently doing or projecting to do? If less than 1-2 cases per day, we recommend the JuiceMatic MJ-20. Anything greater than two cases, we recommend the Fresh ‘N Squeeze CJ or JuiceMatic MJ-40.

Q: What is the yield difference between the “whole fruit extraction principle” (Fresh ‘n Squeeze, formally FMC) and the
“Cut and Press” process?
A: With the Fresh ‘n Squeeze technology, the machine separates the pulp and juice from the peel and blends the pulp into the juice, resulting in approximately 350 ounces per case. The “cut and press” process slices and presses the fruit resulting in lower yield at approximately 280 ounces per case because with this technology, all the pulp is not extracted from the fruit.
Q: Do you get a taste of peel oil in the juice?
A: The Fresh ‘N Squeeze technology offers the lowest peel oil in the industry. With the slice and press, depending on the thickness of the peel, some peel oil can enter the juice when the fruit is being sliced by the machine.
Q: How much can I sell a 10 oz. glass of juice for?
A: You should check your market area, but the larger metropolitan areas will sell for $2.50 a serving.
Q: How difficult is it to clean the machine?
A: The Fresh ‘N Squeeze has five moving all stainless steel and plastic parts that are dishwasher safe. After removing the juicing parts, the machine can be sprayed or hosed down (not high pressure) for sanitation. We offer a food safe chemical for assistance in the cleaning process. With the JuiceMatic, the parts are plastic and need to be manually washed in a 3 compartment sink.
Q: What is the maintenance on the machines?
A: The maintenance on the Fresh ‘N Squeeze depends on the volume of the user. Low to medium volume, the machine requires lubrication twice a year. A food safe grease should be used for the grease points that are recommended in the service manual. On the JuiceMatic, there are no grease points and proper cleaning will greatly extend the life of this machine

Q: How do you justify the cost difference between Fresh ‘N Squeeze and JuiceMatic?
A: With the Fresh ‘N Squeeze technology, you can be assured of 25 percent higher yield, and if you are operating a machine seven days a week with a volume of one case per day, the machine will make the payments on a 36 month lease because of the additional yield and profits. The Fresh ‘N Squeeze equipment has a life expectancy of 10 years and can be rebuilt for many additional years of service.

FOR NON-CITRUS JUICING

Q: What is the difference between the Sanamat and Vitamat?
A: The Vitamat is a high volume machine with fast through put of fruits and vegetables. With the "Plus" model, whole fruits such as apples, pears and large pieces of soft fruit can be processed without the use of cutting utensils. The Sanamat is a low volume juicer with slower through put, but it operates the exact same way.
Q: Is the equipment NSF approved?
A: Both machines are NSF globally approved and the juice processing areas are all stainless steel.
Q: Can I change from one juice to another without cleaning?
A: Because apple juice blends with all fruits and vegetables, we recommend that you process an apple between juicing to neutralize the different fruits and vegetables. When ginger or beets are being processed, the strainer basket has to be removed for cleaning between juicing.
Q: How difficult it is to clean these juicers?
A: The processing parts are all stainless steel and are dishwasher safe. The aluminium parts, i.e. Sanamat cover, should be manually washed as the hot sanitation cycle of the dishwasher will change its color over time.

Q: Who are your competitors and how do your machines compare?
A: Our competitors are Nutrifaster and Ruby. Our equipment offers higher yield, less space requirements (10 inches wide), operates much quieter and the parts are lighter and easier to clean and handle. Our latest model includes a Rotor manufactured motor that peaks out at 2 hp under load. keeping the motor cool with years of customer satisfaction. Our competition only offers up to a 1 hp motor. The "Plus" models offer a large hole cover which eliminates the requirement of slicing the fruit, such as apples, pears which makes the productivity much higher.
